Our Story

Grandma's Mill

The story behind Aurum Reserve Coffee

01
The Woman

Talking about coffee, this wonderful culture, about how it all began — and talking about my dear and beloved grandmother — is something deeply emotional and nostalgic for me.

My grandmother was not just a grandmother. She was a mother, a teacher, and an example. With dedication and within her means, facing every difficulty life placed before her, she never let me lack what was most important: her care and her example.

Examples of perseverance, honesty, resilience, and a spirit of determination that would never give up on its goals. She was the one who said, with the conviction of someone who had already overcome so much:

I will achieve it. I am capable. It will work out.

02
The Memory

She was the one who took me to the coffee harvest for the first time. My first encounter with the coffee plant, my first touch of the fruit during the harvest, happened right there — beside her, between the rows of coffee, with the morning sun and her hands guiding mine.

She was the one who taught me to select the ripe fruit, with the patience of someone who knows every detail of what she loves: "This one is ready for harvest. This one, not yet." Then came the careful handling, the drying of the fruits in the sun — until the coffee reached the cup with that flavor which, to this day, still seems to linger on my palate.

Grandma's Mill

That artisanal hand grinder she cherished so dearly, set up there on the table, on that cool veranda. After roasting the coffee with an aroma that drifted all the way to the neighbors' homes, she would insist: she asked me, or some family member present, to grind the beans right then — in that beloved mill — to make a fresh cup. Everything done right there, in that moment, with that unique aroma that only existed on that veranda. Something made with genuine love.

03
The Promise

It was carrying these memories that, years later, I came to understand that grandma's coffee could not stay only with me. That aroma, that care, that genuine love deserved to reach other people. That is how Aurum Reserve Coffee was born — not as a simple product, but as a promise: to bring you the same care, the same dedication, and the same love I learned on that veranda.

It is for you, Grandma Terezinha Maria de Jesus, that I dedicate this product.

Your image on the packaging is not just a tribute — it is my anchor. It is my daily reminder that standards must never fall, that every detail matters, that the commitment to quality and truth is non-negotiable.

And I promise: every time I look at that packaging and see you there, whatever the moment, I will lift my head, straighten my gaze forward, gather my strength, and carry on until I prevail. I will always offer my best — with honesty, with truth, with faithfulness to the values I learned from you — and I will never stop being grateful and respectful to others.
